Then he found the directory. It was hosted on a server that shouldn't have been powered on, tucked behind a firewall that had been forgotten for twenty years. There was only one file inside: .

The hatch on the screen began to turn. Elias realized then that wasn't a file name at all. It was a timestamp and a set of initials. And according to his clock, the "915" meant he had exactly sixty seconds before the broadcast ended.

A single PDF appeared. When he opened it, his screen didn't show text or images. Instead, it displayed a live satellite feed of a coordinate in the middle of the Nevada desert. In the center of the frame was a small, rusted metal hatch.
